Organic Nursery & Gardening Services in San Francisco
The Clayton Farm began as an 'accidental' venture inspired by a World War II poster advocating backyard gardening. What started as a simple effort to reduce food costs evolved into a passionate commitment to sustainable living. Our farm operates as a miniature ecosystem where fruits, vegetables, flowers, and livestock coexist harmoniously. We prioritize organic practices, offering rare starter plants hardened by natural conditions rather than chemical treatments. Our gardening services in Contra Costa County include lawn care, irrigation, and landscaping, while our wholesale nursery provides affordable, eco-friendly solutions. We share organic produce abundantly with the SF Bay Area community, including eggs, honey, and compost. Our philosophy combines practicality with environmental stewardship, emphasizing patience and natural resilience in gardening.
