When you've been in the floral business as long as we have, you know a thing or two about keeping things fresh. Today, we use the latest technology to ensure that we're able to deliver 100% on the promise we make to our customers - a promise we made a long time ago and intend to keep. In fact, we've consistently remained a "Yes We Can" florist throughout the many decades and generations we've been serving our Louisville community, evolving where necessary but always keeping our values intact. Today, our inventory includes cut flowers and arrangements created by experienced floral designers, a Healthy Plants collection (along with our Green and Flowering ones), a greenhouse rich with seasonal favorites, and a gift selection that rivals those in the finest home décor stores.
Plants are important to us - after all, we opened our first greenhouse here in Louisville in 1850. Today, indoor plants are more sought after than ever before, with both green and flowering types livening up homes, offices, hotels, hospitals, restaurants and anywhere that could use a dose of health-giving green. We're so aware of the wellness benefits of plants, in fact, that we've created an entire category for them, from kitchen clearers to office cleansers.
Find our 5,000-square-foot greenhouse at our hub location on Breckenridge Lane. Don't be shy, go on in; it's an open-door policy here, where the shelves are full of seasonal plants, tropicals, succulents, bloomers and more. We keep it green all year long, whether you're looking for mums in the fall or tulips in spring. We have containers, vessels, wind chimes and garden stones as well as garden decor too, and if you can't find what you're looking for, our knowledgeable staff will point the way.
What does it mean to be a legacy florist? It's more than just being family owned and operated - though we are that, and have been, for nearly 170 years. Our founder, horticulturalist Henry Nanz, left his native Germany for the U.S. in the mid-nineteenth century, like so many others. He settled in Louisville, and in 1850, opened a florist business there. The shop was small - little more than a greenhouse at first. But as demand for flowers grew, so did the business. Soon, Nanz was selling everything from fruit trees to cut flowers from a proper shop on Third Street.
As Louisville's largest florist, greenhouse and gift provider, we are in a unique position to help your business. Whether it's an employee perk program or help with thanking your customers, we can make the experience exceptional. Your brand resides within the hearts and minds of customers, clients, and prospects. It is the sum total of their experiences and perceptions. A strong brand is invaluable as the battle for customers intensifies day by day. It's a foundational piece in your marketing communication and Nanz & Kraft can help you strengthen your brand as you share thoughtful gifts with customers and prospects.
