Jays Shrub Care

At Jays Shrub Care, we bring over two decades of specialized expertise in arboriculture and landscape maintenance to homeowners and businesses in Matteson, Illinois. Founded in 1999 by Jay Peters, a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture since 2003, our company builds on a family legacy that began with Jay's father, John Peters, who was among Illinois' first certified arborists. Our team combines generational knowledge with modern techniques to deliver precise shrub pruning, tree care, and landscape design services tailored to each client's unique needs. We prioritize thorough preparation and attention to detail, ensuring every project meets our high standards for quality and safety. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our long-standing client relationships and active involvement with the Illinois Arborist Association. We maintain full transparency in our operations, using professional-grade equipment and certified methodologies to address both routine maintenance and complex landscaping challenges.

Customer satisfaction remains our top priority, as evidenced by our consistent delivery of reliable, timely service and meticulous job-site cleanup. Our approach emphasizes personalized consultation, allowing us to understand client goals and offer cost-effective solutions that enhance property aesthetics and value. With Jay's 16 years of experience working alongside his father at Bergquist Tree Experts, Inc., followed by 24 years leading our own team, we combine deep industry knowledge with hands-on practical expertise. Our services cater to both residential and commercial clients seeking professional landscape maintenance solutions, from seasonal pruning to comprehensive property beautification projects.
