Even though it might not seem like the most glamorous occupation in the world, it's hard to ignore the fact that plumbers make really great salaries (and they earn every penny). The future is exciting, but definitely unpredictable. 50 years ago, people thought that we'd be driving flying cars and using jetpacks to get around at this point, but that didn't quite happen. The same can be said for the future of employment. High tech jobs continue to change, and many are being shipped overseas to save money on labor costs, or simply eliminated and absorbed into other jobs.
Since 1994, the Arkansas Construction Education Foundation has provided quality training to produce a safe, competent and professional workforce for contractors. Aimed at those who enjoy working with their hands and their heads, the foundation's primary goal is to satisfy the ever-growing demand for skilled trades-persons. ACEF currently trains craft professionals in Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC. The foundation also conducts safety and management education courses for construction, commercial, and industrial operations.
