Services
Cone Penetration Testing
Gregg Drilling provides cone penetration testing (CPT) using truck and track-mounted equipment with 30-ton push capacity. Our systems include standard trucks, off-road vehicles, and portable ramset equipment for diverse site conditions. Real-time data presentation and on-board washrooms enhance field efficiency, while support trucks handle decontamination and concrete coring to improve productivity.
Hollow Stem Auger Drilling
We deploy hollow stem auger rigs for shallow borings up to 250ft depth, ideal for environmental well installations and geotechnical sampling. Truck and track-mounted rigs accommodate urban and off-road locations, with automatic SPT hammers for soil testing. This method offers a cost-effective solution for monitoring wells and stratigraphic analysis.
In-situ Remediation
Our remediation services include high-performance injection systems for ISCO, ERD, and bioremediation. Custom mobile rigs deliver reagents at 0.1-100 GPM and 0-1500 PSI, with multi-point manifolds for simultaneous injection across 20 locations. We integrate HRSC data to optimize compound placement in diverse lithologies.
Well Installation
Gregg Drilling handles full-cycle well services from permitting to abandonment. We install environmental monitoring wells, water production wells, and groundwater extraction systems using Smeal 5/8-ton and MARL rigs. Services include development, rehabilitation, pump installation, and video logging for municipal and industrial clients.
Marine Drilling
We conduct near-shore and inland marine investigations using the R/V Quin Delta drill ship, modular barges, and jack-up platforms. Capabilities include geotechnical sampling, seismic CPT, and soil coring in ports, rivers, and reservoirs. Our team has completed projects in California, Alaska, Canada, and Mexico with specialized marine equipment.
