For the past 20 years, Rubicon's environmental engineering team of engineers and geologists has been at the forefront of technological advances and engaged in high profile and challenging environmental engineering projects. Since 2014, the environmental engineering division of Rubicon has been led by Dr. Mohsen Mehran, a highly regarded hydro-geologist and environmental engineering expert with more than 30 years of experience in the investigation and remediation of complex sites. Our senior staff is comprised of experts in legal support and forensic investigations, making us capable of generating defensible work products.
Construction is science-based, and when disputes arise, an effective neutral mediator must possess an understanding of legal contract obligations as well as a scientific knowledge of the construction process. Dr. Tarassoly leads Rubicon's mediation team. She is an attorney, a licensed civil and structural engineer, and a registered contractor (A& B licenses and Hazmat) in the state of California.
