Brownie Air Service is THE BEST! I have lived in Orlando my entire life and my Dad always used Brownie. Brownie worked at Heinmiller for a long time and decided to start his own AC Company. My house was built in 1958; it's a block home with almost no attic space. In addition, my AC was on my roof and I wanted it moved down to the ground. I had 4 quotes and Brownie was the most expensive, but it was the most realistic and honest regarding price and timeline. I have learned the hard way the cheapest and quickest is not the way to go. Brownie is the only one that had a good plan that didn't involve running copper wires where you'd be able to see then inside the house (running from the AC handler to the Condenser outside unit). Every other quote involved running the lines along the ceiling inside, through our master bedroom and then making a hole in the block wall to get the lines outside. Brownie did it the right way and ran it behind a wall so you'll never see it. He is also the only one that said we would need new duct work; at first I was hesitant about this b/c everyone else said our duct work was fine, but Brownie showed me why it wouldn't work and he was absolutely right (in short, it was backwards if that makes sense to anyone). We got new duct work with built in insulation that also solved our condensation issue.
