We found ourselves challenging our assumptions about who we are, what we do, what we stand for, our strengths, and our opportunities. Through the process we uncovered our unique benefits which differentiate us from our competition. Growers and Nomads was established in 2001 as a new iteration of the professional practice of Edward Leaman that had carried several names in the fifteen years before that. Edward's bio tells that story (designer and merchant became marketer became brand builder). The great Peter Drucker once said, "Culture eats strategy for breakfast, lunch and dinner, " and when it comes to thinking about the relationship of brand to reputation this is what has always struck me hardest.
