CT ABC - Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut is a membership association representing Merit Shop contractors. Merit Shop is free enterprise - the belief that all construction contracts should be awarded to the lowest responsible, qualified bidder based on merit, regardless of the company's non-union or union affiliation. CT ABC is the recognized advocate and defender of Merit Shop contractors and addresses the unique challenges of their members. Connecticut Building Congress - CBC is an active organization with representatives from every facet of the building industry-architects, engineers, owners, attorneys, bankers, contractors, developers, consultants, and suppliers-meeting monthly with keynote speakers in an informal atmosphere to discuss mutual interests, share business information and leads, and learn about events that shape our industry.
