CT Renaissance opened its doors in 1967 with one of the State's earliest outpatient drug treatment programs. Over the past five decades, the organization has expanded to provide services in a variety of settings including outpatient, community and residential programs. While the organization's roots are in substance use treatment, we have grown to provide behavioral health, addiction and criminal justice services. Our outpatient, community and residential programs serve adults and adolescents throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties.
In November, 2020, CT Renaissance had its seventh survey by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). While we await the formal results of the survey, the Exit Conference was very positive noting accolades for our staff, our policies and services. The CARF surveyors commented that it is clear that the leaderships is committed to the quality of the organization as evidenced by the ongoing communication and reviews of performance. There is solid accountability by the organized committees that continuously monitor for compliance and identify areas for improvement.
