I can’t say enough good things about Slavin Home Improvements. They are professional and extremely competent and thorough. They replaced my roof in an amazingly organized way, and afterward they made sure every loose nail and every scrap of material was removed. They are very responsive. You can’t go wrong with Zak and Matt if you need a roof repair or replacement.
It was like a weather tech commercial van pulls up and Zak’s workers filed out of the truck….I think it was like eleven guys…they got to work straight away…all going up one by one on the ladder and spreading out over my roof…ripping off the old and adding the new shingles…then it was quiet and they were gone…found only 3 nails in the driveway! This was a job well done! I knew he wouldn’t disappoint. Zak and his crew did my mothers home about 4 years ago. So I knew he and his guys were the ones to do my own home….Thankyou Zak
Zak was absolutely amazing to work with! He responded to me within minutes of messaging him and was there the next day personally. Zak performed some small repair work - sealing a sewer pipe, fixing some flashing, and sealing down a shingle - and gave me a complete inspection of the roof. He was honest, kind and more than reasonable!
The fact that the owner of the company responded personally and came out to do the work himself speaks volumes about what kind of a small business that Zak runs. Zak was there the day after a hurricane for this minor repair and while his crews were out installing complete roofs. I’m so grateful for him and his business, and won’t hesitate to recommend Slavin Home Improvements to everyone I know! While he was at my house, a neighbor wandered over to get a quote on some gutter repairs done and Zak made time then and there.

It’s not easy finding quality contractors these days, but Zak and his team went above and beyond to make sure my job was done quickly and professionally. Our roof was no easy task with plywood needed on a good portion of it and more roof lines then you can count, but Zak and his team were quick to address any issue that came up and kept me in the loop throughout the project. Good people, good service, highly recommended!
