Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta opposes any bill that targets the voting rights of AAPI voters and communities of color. Bills like HB 531 and SB 241 seek to undo the hard work of voters by creating unnecessary and illegitimate barriers for voters.
Yesterday, the Georgia State Legislature crossed over a litany of bills that are designed to make it harder for Georgians to vote. Thankfully, a number of bills that would have made the damage even worse were defeated.
This week we are celebrating our dedicated and passionate team of AmeriCorps members. Their service helps New American Pathways fulfill the mission to help refugees and Georgia thrive. We love our AmeriCorps members!
