Providing collaborative, comprehensive services to homeless individuals and families working toward sustainable independence. The Almost Home program provides safe, comfortable living space with trained and compassionate staff for up to six mothers with children-on average 20 people. Families are provided private rooms and bathrooms for an average of nine months. All of our moms are working, in school, or in training. JobTREC (Job Training, Referral, Education, and Case Management) assists Almost Home clients in overcoming barriers to employment.

Who doesn't love biscuits for breakfast? Golden Pantry has amazing breakfast biscuits. And you know what is even more amazing? Throughout February and March, 5% of Wednesday biscuit sales from all Athens area Golden Pantry stores will go into the Get Comfortable program. Additionally, the Prince Avenue, College Station, and Broad Street stores will have Get Comfortable t-shirts for sale. The profits from these shirt sales will go to the fund as well.
