NRCA Affiliate Executive meeting (below) where the SRCA is represented by Joe Jenkins, Executive Director. SRCA meetings and board elections took place during the IRE on Thursday, March 2nd, beginning at 8:30 am, at the Tropics B Room in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Our booth at the trade show was #2571. SRCA Member Meeting, Board Meeting, and Board Elections were held in Orlando, Florida, concurrent with the International Roofing Expo, February 17-19, 2016. In Atlantic City, New Jersey on March 26-27, 2014 at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, by Mahan Slate Roofing, Short Slate, Paulin Slate and Copper, and SSQ Slate.

We enclose the invitation by Eamonn Costello, Chairman of the Irish association RCCA Roofing and Cladding Contractors Association, the programme of the Congress and the registration forms. We would like to ask the offices of all IFD members to send this information to the national delegates who intend to participate in the IFD- Congress.
The SRCA is an American Institute of Architects approved provider for continuing education credits. The installation of natural quarried roofing slates, although not rocket science, is different from the installation of other roofing materials. The devil is in the details. This PowerPoint presentation provides the basic information one would need to be informed about correct slate roof installation practices. Prerequisite Knowledge: A basic roofing and construction background is helpful, but not necessary.
