Fly Predators
Our Fly Predators are natural biological control agents that target pest flies during their developmental stages. These beneficial insects are shipped in cocoon form and become active within 2-7 days after application. When sprinkled near manure areas, they seek out fly pupae to parasitize, effectively breaking the fly life cycle before pests emerge.
Odor Control
Bye Bye Odor products neutralize unpleasant smells associated with animal waste and organic decomposition. The concentrated formula works by breaking down odor-causing compounds at their source. Available in multiple sizes, our odor control solutions provide long-lasting freshness for stables, barns, and waste management areas without masking scents.
Fly Traps
Our specialized fly traps capture adult flies using attractants and containment systems. The StarBar line includes reusable and disposable options that target different fly species. These traps work synergistically with Fly Predators to manage both adult fly populations and prevent future infestations through integrated pest management strategies.
Mosquito Control
Mosquito Torpedo products provide targeted control for mosquito populations in standing water areas. The 3-pack formulation prevents mosquito larvae development for extended periods. This chemical-free solution works through biological agents that specifically target mosquito larvae while maintaining environmental safety for surrounding ecosystems.
Fly Repellants
Bye Bye Insects fly sprays offer immediate contact killing of adult flies while providing residual protection. Available in multiple sizes from 4oz to 32oz bottles, these natural repellants contain plant-based ingredients that deter flies without harsh chemicals. They complement Fly Predators by managing adult fly populations in enclosed spaces.

Fly Predators are natural enemies of flies that kill them during the larval stage. You sprinkle them near manure areas every 3-4 weeks to prevent flies from hatching.
Are Fly Predators safe for animals?
Yes, our Fly Predators are completely safe for all animals, including horses, livestock, and pets. They only target pest flies during their developmental stages.
When should I start using Fly Predators?
Begin applications in early spring before fly season starts. Continue every 3-4 weeks during warm months to maintain effective fly population control.
How many Fly Predators do I need?
For each large animal, you'll need approximately 1,000 Fly Predators. Our ordering system helps determine exact quantities based on your specific animal count and location.
Do Fly Predators work in all climates?

I am the vice president of Wild Burro Rescue in Olancha, CA and we have been using the fly predators for the first time this past summer and what a difference it has made! We have over 200 animals so you can imagine the problems we had in prior years. It is absolutely amazing how it has cut down on the fly problem! My next goal is to get the Ponderosa Dairy that is located here in Amargosa Valley where I live, to use the predators.

The flies here are horrible. I've never seen them this bad. Something has to be done. Fingers crossed that they will show some concern for their community and so something to cut down the invasion of flies that are infesting this area. so bottom line: if you have fly problems, the fly predators from Spalding Labs is an absolute MUST!

Spalding labs fly preditures are the best fly bait there ever was. In the few years we have used them we have seen less & less flies. We have had cattle, horses, & dogs close to the house with very few if any flies. As long as we have animals we will use them.

I own and operate a small kennel and absolutely love the protection fly predators provide. The Flies use to be absolutely horrible. At one point I was literally using a shop vac to remove them from my shop lights. Since using fly predators we rarely have any flies inside and there is a definite huge decrease outside as well. Customer service has always been great! Will be a lifelong customer!
