We believe in the old saying "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, " and have built a pest control program around that philosophy. For years, standard pest control consisted of a monthly visit where a technician came into your home and sprayed all the baseboards around the house to kill any bugs that were inside, and for the most part it worked. But it was terribly inconvenient. First, you had to make sure someone would be there to meet the "bug guy" every month. Then, if something happened and he couldn't make it, you had to reschedule and do it all over again.
Core aeration is the process of removing small cores of soil 1" to 2" in length from your lawn leaving a small, hollow opening in its place. Aeration is a practice that needs to be done every year. It helps the entire weed control and fertilization program work much better. What happens to the cores? After a few rains they melt back into the soil. To speed up the process, you can mow your lawn or water it a few times. As for the small holes in your lawn, the grass roots will grow into those making your lawn thicker and healthier.
Soil Testing - Getting your soil tested is the first step toward having a healthy lawn. We can order a soil test and have the results sent directly to you. We will also take the time to explain the soil test results to you and go over any changes that may need to be made in order for your lawn to look its best. Fire Ant Control - Nothing can ruin a day like stepping on a fire ant mound. If you have fire ants on your property, let us get rid of them for you. Our fire ant control works wonderfully and will keep you and your family safe from painful fire ant bites.
