I have done business with Spence's for over 30 years. I cancelled my service today. They said I had an past due amount from April. The billing clerk needs training in customer service. They came out and treated for ants. The ants came back and she did not want to schedule the tech to come out again before I paid the past due. Then she didn't understand why I would find that insulting. I asked why I had not received an invoice or any past due notices.
I did a search of my computer and I have no invoice from them for $75 and I don't have a paper copy of the invoice either. I paid $75 and the June 27 bill. Today she called me wanting payment for the $75 and the June 27 bill. I told her I had mailed the check. She asked, so are you going to pay or not. Since I am such a poor credit risk, I can take my business elsewhere.
