We are a small contractor capable of mobilizing and self performing projects across Minnesota and the surrounding states. We perform both private and public work for a wide variety of clients. We prefer to negotiate contracts, but feel our size, experience, and skill allows us to be competitive in both the negotiated and hard bid markets. Our company tries to be a problem solver for our clients to bring true value to the contracting process. As a service to our clients we can perform site assesments, budgets, and constructability analyses in the preconstruction stage.
Dahn Construction began in 1991 when Keith Dahn went into the construction business as an owner. Keith began his construction career working in his father's family business. Keith left his father's business and went to work for an emerging heavy and highway contractor in 1980. After working his way up through the ranks, he struck out on his own in 1991. The new company was based out of a shop in South St. Paul for the first 10 years. In 2002, Dahn Construction purchased our current office property and began the task of transforming it into a shop and office capable of supporting the construction company.
