Building with SIPs includes many of the same components as traditional construction, but offers the benefits of a stronger structure, increased energy efficiency, faster installation and overall, a more cost-effective project.
Hinks Construction is a family owned business from Twig, Minnesota that has been building locally for more than 15 years in the surrounding areas of Duluth Minnesota. Hinks Construction is fully insured, licensed (Lic#635468) and registered with the State of Minnesota. Out in the field with contractors for 4+ years. Prior, I had numerous side jobs/projects from sheds & decks, to assisting with cabin and house builds. It's tough to say. It is awesome seeing the structure go up, along with doing the finish work and everything in-between.
Unlike a traditional stick frame building, Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), arrive at the build site put together like this and are labeled according to where they should be placed. This saves the crew a ton of time in putting up structures!
