Nemo will always have a special memory in our history. As one of our first major projects from our start back in 1994, it serves as a benchmark for all future projects. We were asked by Studiolido/Carl Myers Architect, to participate in this exciting concept working with Michael Schwartz' first restaurant in South Beach. We collaborated with both architect and chef to create the restaurant brand identity that would capture the essence of the style, approach to food and simplicity they wanted. We helped with the script logo to personalize the brand, collaterals and interpreted the logo literally in signage.
As signage consultants, putting a project together from design, compliance and cost to implement is our expertise. We had the notable opportunity to handle the very first Andaz in New York encompassing the entire signage/wayfinding program. We worked with brand, ownership and Rockwell Group generating all documents and handled city approvals and fabrication. The signage elements enhance the brand voice, interior design, and local culture specific to this unique property in the fabric of wall street culture.
Architect Nick Tricarico introduced ribbit to Larry Garmany, owner of the high-end clothing brand for both men and women of the same name. We were tasked with designing the brand identity and graphics package for their flagship store in Red Bank, NJ. We developed a brand strategy approach to could expand on different communication elements, from stationery, bags, box designs, gift cards, labels and ad concepts to wearables, point-of-purchase, and property identification. We worked with Tricarico Architecture & Design group and Garmany on all aspects of concept development and implementation.
Collaborating with Chase and Spectrum Signs, we had the opportunity to create a distinctive flagship design in Times Square, making the most of the limited storefront. We developed the exterior facade design to include main entry marquee with a rotating glass logo, the bank facade treatment of LED-relay signs, 2nd floor window treatment, new ATM area improvements and branded stair wall treatment to 2nd floor lobby area.
With several other Noble House projects under our belt, ribbit was specifically chosen to create and implement the property identity, graphics and signage/wayfinding program for this boutique property in Palm Springs. We worked with NH directly and the design team to handle all phases of planning, design, including generating all documents to facilitate city approvals and fabrication. The signage elements enhance the brand voice, interior design, and local culture specific to the 1950's property ethos.
We worked with Jones Land LaSalle's team, ownership, Dianna Wong, BBGM and W design teams on all planning, city approvals, property specific design and brand standards to generate all documents fabrication and successful implementation.
Ribbit created the new Corporate Headquarters' interior and exterior signage program on a design build basis. Familiar with their brand culture and experience with their hotel brands, ribbit was tasked by head brand design team to develop a modern and LEED conscious design to comply with their Platinum Certification for the building. We developed a graphic motif to align with the interior design and produced an attractive and fully compliant signage design program for the entry lobby, elevators, stairs, restrooms, meeting rooms, executive offices and support room signage.
As part of our design consulting and signage work for the W Hotel Washington with Jones Lang LaSalle and BBGM, we were retained to work with Culinary Concepts Hospitality Group design team. The project assignment was to create a marquee design and brand identification in keeping with the historic elements of the property and new JG brand. We designed the entry marquee with a glass ceiling and wrought iron motif that mimics the existing railings at the property. The detailing and color scheme all match the hotel's existing marquee structures, along with a menu display cabinet to complement.
We handled all the planning and design, as well as generated all documents and city approvals for full program implementation. The signage elements enhance the brand voice, and the 'country club feel' that was created by Thom Felicia's interior design, which all speaks back to the local culture specific to this property.
We worked with MBDS design team and GFI ownership in every phase of the project, handling all the planning, city approvals for a property-specific design including documentation, fabrication and implementation. The project scope also included Tom Colicchio and Keith McNally restaurants, amenity spaces and high end Residential Tower by TJH studio.
