Before green building was called "green building, " early practitioners referred to their efforts as "ecobuilding." ECO's name preserves this reference. Green building has evolved considerably since those early days and ECO has been at the forefront. With Eugene's first permitted straw bale house, zero energy house, and first certified Passive House, ECO has worked to build the change we wish to see. We are carpenters aware that our craft has to extend beyond quality construction.
