Coffman Excavation prepared the grounds for a new multi-use tower downtown last year, creating a central hub of urban development on Portland’s east side. This project included demolishing the existing building and mass excavating down over 30 feet to make way for the new foundation.
One of our highlights from 2020 was preparing the grounds for 7 new sport fields at the new Sherwood High School. Earthwork included moving over 400,000 CY of native soil. The building pad terraces over three independent slab on grade elevations, with breathtaking views of Mount Hood and the Willamette Valley.
