We believe in quality, honesty and integrity in all aspects of our company. We believe in providing customers with quality products at a fair price. We build decks and fences by using the best building practices, highly skilled installers and high-quality materials.

I first got into building in 1998. At the time, I was teaching at Loudoun County Public Schools as a Spanish and History teacher. My grandfather passed away that year and left each of his grandchildren $1,000. I bought a skill saw and a nail gun with that money and built my own fence. My neighbors took notice of our new fence and asked me to build their fence. I got my contractors license and the word began to spread about my small business. As my business grew, I started building decks as well.

Quality and transparency are the key components of our company's foundation. Using the best building practices helps us to install high quality products. These practices have been developed over the past 20 years and are proven to be extremely successful. Footings are the foundation that holds the deck in place and prevents it from sinking. The important thing to know about footings is they need to be deep enough to reach solid ground. The typical code for a deck requires that the footing is 18″ in diameter and that the bottom is at least 24″ deep and reaches solid ground.

The 3 and 4 Board Paddock is a great fence option that offers a rustic but elegant look. Paddock fences are built with rough cut wood and are typically painted black or white after instillation. The standard height is 4 feet. Wire can be added as an option. Picket fences are a great addition to any home. They are the ultimate American style of fence. The arched picket fence is an elegant option that is typically built with gothic style posts (as pictured) at a height of 4 feet. Different post options are available.

They did an excellent job from planning through execution. While planning the deck, Dan made suggestions that transformed our original idea into a much better design and layout. During construction, they used quality materials throughout - heavier boards for support than you might expect and screws instead of nails. And the attention to detail was amazing. There were a couple of things that I hardly noticed, but Dan reviewed it every day - when it wasn't up to his standard, they redid it. The crew was amazing. It was hot and humid (July in Loudoun County - what do you expect :-) ), but they worked steadily to complete the job. They started when they said they would start and finished as planned. And you should see the deck - it exceeds my expectations.

Had the whole deck replaced from the ground up. The crew we had was professional, efficient, and hard working. They arrived early worked all day and.

Loudoun Deck and Fence is awesome! The workers were nice and polite. They asked for my opinion and needs during construction and I couldn't be happier with the final product! Great job! Thank you!
