Custom Home Design & Architectural Services
Point Design, Inc. was founded in 1997 with a commitment to delivering exceptional residential design services. Our firm initially focused solely on custom residential projects, evolving in 2000 to include general contracting services for custom homes. After nearly a decade of hands-on construction experience, we redirected our focus to design while retaining critical construction insights that enhance our work. Over decades, our team has designed custom homes, remodels, commercial buildings, and metal structures while maintaining our passion for residential projects. Our founder Matt Widmer brings expertise from Texas A&M University and extensive experience in architectural firms across Dallas, Austin, and nationally. We combine proven methodologies with personalized approaches to translate clients' visions into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces. Our process emphasizes collaboration, starting with detailed consultations to understand client needs, followed by phased design development and continuous communication throughout project execution. We specialize in creating contextually appropriate designs that harmonize with Central Texas landscapes while meeting modern living requirements. With deep local knowledge of building codes and regional architectural styles, we deliver tailored solutions that balance creativity with practicality.
