Cathy has been working as an interior designer for nearly two decades. A fourth generation Houstonian, Cathy prefers restoration instead of demolition, hence the name of her firm: renovate. When you can't find Cathy rearranging furniture, knocking down walls, or designing pillows, she's likely spending time with her four grandchildren, or her favorite children, Tres and Gus (golden retriever and chocolate lab.) Cathy's daughter Courtney came to work with Cathy full-time in 2014. Courtney's previous work experience is varied; she has worked at the White House and Dept. of Agriculture during the George W. Bush Administration, taught with Teach For America at a KIPP Houston elementary school, and also worked at Yellowstone Academy.
