When able, after the storm, will need to remove all leaf debris from the pool. You don't want to leave leaves in your pool any longer than necessary as it can cause other water chemistry issues. Gratefully it is still a Tropical Storm right now. To keep your pool safe, remove anything that 70 mph winds can blow into your pool. Would definitely lay umbrellas down on the ground and tie up or tie down your outdoor furniture. As for the rain fall, I have heard it will be somewhere between 4" to 8". Either way, when the storm is over, you should rebalance your water chemistry.
Pool Maintenance Programs: We vacuum the pool, empty the skimmer baskets, empty the pump basket, empty the polaris bag, backwash and recharge the filter if needed, clean the salt cell if needed, set pool running times, adjust chlorine percentage, fix minor leaks, test and balance your pool water to your gallons size. There is no contract to sign and you can start and stop service with a phone call (757-652-0101), text, email, or facebook message. When able, after the storm, will need to remove all leaf debris from the pool.
There is no right or wrong way to close a pool for the winter. Choose which is for you and your family. We specialize in algae prevention and removal. It is recommended that a pool close after the temperatures average below 50F, and open/balance before averaging above 50F regardless of the type of close for mesh covers. Solid and tarp covers can close whenever they choose. Signature Full Pool Close ($325) includes: a vacuum of the pool to clear out debris (provided the water is clear), clean the skimmers and baskets, winterization chemicals ($75), clear all water from pool lines, provide winterization plugs and gizzmos if needed, disassemble and clean D.E. filter or Cartridge filter, pull all equipment plugs, clean salt cell, remove ladder and/or handrail, and install cover.
Great service, very respectful and informative. There is no comparison to other pool services I have used in the past. This was a great experience.
Bought a house with a pool that hasn't been opened in 2 years, and didn't have a cover installed. Talked to Jessica the owner of Signature pools and she was knowledgeable! Immediately after the conversation I saved her phone number in my phone as"Jessica pool goddess" for her comprehension of pools and their intricate details. Just now starting the process to open my pool, but should only take a few days to have it ready for swimming thanks to the people here.
Awesome company! As a small business owner myself. From the first day we met with Ed, we knew we found a company that took pride in there work. Very knowledgeable about every aspect of the project. Reminded us of how we run our own business. Jessica and Ed are top notch and would refer them to anybody who is looking to add a pool to there backyard. Thank you Signature Pools!
