The year was 1978. With one truck and one employee, as well as a heart and will as sound as the concrete he laid, Arlindo Ribeiro (our founder) poured the first yard of concrete, laid the first brick, and set the first stone. Focused and dedicated, he set our masonry company in Springfield, VA, on the path that guides us still today. Defined by the standards of hard work and excellent workmanship, Portugal Construction continues to be a local leader in masonry and concrete services. As the years have passed, we now have more than a hundred people in our workforce.
