I loved it! David Barkley was an amazing raft guide. Steve was an amazing main guide! The adventure (white water rafting) in the New River Gorge, WV was an overall great experience. I recommend it to anyone that wants a thrill because they have several level four rapids and some level fives and that was when the water level was 'in the middle'. Beautiful scenery and ACE (Steve) did a great job of preparing us, Jack did a great job driving us, and Ester did a swell job of getting us our equipment!
Just returned from my second visit to ACE. It was amazing, this year we did whitewater rafting down the lower half of the river. Our group had an amazing guide, (Brennan, would recommend that you request him). The group also did the lake waterpark. We stayed on the property in a cabin with a hot tub and enjoyed our annual girls adventure trip.
I've visited twice now for Mountain Music Fest and the whole staff is always so helpful, friendly and down to earth. If you ever have the pleasure to go whitewater rafting here- DO IT and recommend Boaty as your raft guide. He's the best of the best. :
