My Redtwig Dogwoods will get a haircut to shape them up and I will be cutting the 3 thickest stems to the ground, keeps it younger looking.
Today I will be cutting Little Princess Spireas back to about 6",if you have a firepit, save the twigs cause they make great fire starters
