Green Man Garden Design & Consultation is named in honor of the ancient mythical figure who guards all growing things and symbolizes nature's cycle of renewal and rebirth. Through a variety of garden-related services, I strive to advance awareness of our connection to Mother Earth. As a garden designer, editor, and writer, I've helped produce more than 20 books on a wide variety of garden topics. In my role as senior editor of the past three editions of the Sunset Western Garden Book, I continued to expand and deepen my familiarity with the best plants for Western gardens.
