Come out this year and enjoy nature by walking one of the trails at the Chesapeake Arboreteum, 624 Oak Grove Rd, this holiday season. This is the link to the site with trail maps. The 2021 Chesapeake Master Gardener Volunteer Program starts on Tuesday, January 5. This year we are doing in-person day training in a large space Tuesdays and Thursdays and we will be simultaneously doing the program with Zoom. We are excited to welcome some new interns into the program. Some of our Master Gardeners are also skilled at woodworking.
Log your hours or view the calendar using the Virginia Master Gardener Volunteer Management System. Did you miss the last meeting? Want to know what's going on? The calendar feature of the Volunteer Management System should have most of the upcoming volunteer opportunities. Click on "calendar" after you login. We are featuring articles written by Master Gardeners on this website. If you have something you'd like to share with the public, submit your article proposal here. Please ensure that your manuscript conforms to the American Society for Horticultural Science's Style Guide prior to submitting it through this system.
