Virginia Hand's first career was in graphic design, tackling a variety of business identity and publication projects, including book design. Her love of gardening led her back to school to expand her plant knowledge. Since 1997 Virginia Hand has been designing custom gardens with clients, bringing a strong design sense and a passion for plants to every project. Virginia's gardens have been featured on tours and in a variety of garden publications and books. In late 2017 she moved to a property in Skagit County where she is renovating a unique English garden.
