The Claypool family has worked in the home pool and spa industry since 1982. Jeff, Lifestyle Outdoor's President, started his career more than 30 years ago installing, servicing, and remodeling pools alongside his father. As part of the job, he attended a home show, where he discovered the Jacuzzi Hot Tubs and Hot Spring Spas brands. After learning about their products, he became a distributer and started selling hot tubs and spas in the Los Angeles area. Two years later, in 1984, Lifestyle Outdoor opened its first retail location, focusing all of its attention on supplying state-of-the-art hot tubs and spas to its customers.

Spencer grew up around Lifestyle Outdoor his entire life and used to think everyone had a hot tub in their backyard. He was brought on to help with digital marketing, but soon found himself helping customers in the showroom. He now splits his time between the two roles. Spencer has a natural ability to find the hot tub that best fits a customer's needs, all the way from the size of the spa down to each and every jet. He enjoys the excitement and happiness a hot tub brings to the customer. Jeff was a teenager when he started maintaining, repairing and remodeling swimming pools in the mid 1970s.
