It's standard practice for us to recycle or repurpose existing carpet tile or broadloom so it can be converted into raw materials, energy or even new carpet. For more than 20 years, we've partnered with LA Fiber to recycle discarded broadloom carpet and carpet padding. They provide us with an empty 44-foot trailer to fill with these materials, which is housed at our Irvine warehouse. Once it's full, LA Fiber picks it up and uses the raw materials within it to produce carpet cushioning that is made from 90% post-consumer synthetic fiber.
