Tech Tip Tuesday! THE CHAPSTICK TRICK: When you assemble your carburetor(s), coat the gaskets with chapstick. Then when you have to take them back apart again (even years from now), they will come right apart without sticking, pulling, or tearing the gaskets. You'll be able to re-use the gaskets multiple times! The gasket will also seal better thanks to applying the chapstick. This works for carburetor base gaskets or any other gaskets on the carburetor which don't get hot.
