I really wish I would have listened to the mediocre reviews on the United Healthcare website but I gave this place a chance because it's in a great location and I wanted more info on LASIK. Dr. Lorenzen is very knowledgeable but seemed cold and disinterested. Then, upon time to sign the consent form to get fitting for contacts I was assured that the 60 dollar charge would be billed to my insurance. As it turns out United Healthcare only pays for contact fittings when you buy contacts at the same time. This was never discussed and you would think have a lot of experience with such a large insurer, so they should give clients warning! So, UH says PCVI could do an amended billing and they will still pay if I go in and order contacts. I even emailed the address on PCVI's facebook but never got a response to ask about this. So I go in during my lunch break and am told their hardware (aka glasses and contacts) is not contracted with UH, only fittings! I would have never gone to this place if I knew that! Even worse, a biller couldn't even be bothered to come out and talk to me they just made the glasses technician go back and forth. I was left with the impression of just too bad. So I guess I am out 60 bucks which would have been covered if I went to a different provider and not mislead.
All Staff is Always willing to listen. Even the Doctor! This is an awesome group. So Happy I found this place!
