The New Lenox Public Works Department is responsible for providing a variety of services ranging from street repairs to water and sewer system operation and maintenance. The Public Works Department is charged with the repair and maintenance of approximately 130 miles of Village streets. These services include street sweeping, snow plowing, maintenance of street lights and traffic signals, parkway tree care and the initiation of new construction. Public Works provides high quality water and sewer services to the residents and businesses in New Lenox.
