Services
Landscape Design
Our custom landscape designs begin with in-depth client consultations to understand aesthetic preferences and functional needs. We create scaled drawings and planting plans that integrate native flora with artistic elements like stone masonry. Each design balances beauty with ecological function, ensuring spaces thrive in California's climate while supporting local biodiversity.
Eco-Restoration
We restore degraded landscapes using indigenous plants to rebuild ecosystems. By replanting coastal chaparral and other native species, we create habitats for displaced wildlife. Our approach combines scientific knowledge of plant-animal relationships with practical landscaping techniques, transforming barren areas into biodiverse sanctuaries that benefit both nature and property owners.
Permaculture Integration
We incorporate permaculture principles to develop self-sustaining landscapes that mimic natural systems. Our designs feature perennial food plants arranged in polycultures, reducing maintenance while maximizing yields. This approach revives indigenous land management practices, creating gardens that provide nourishment for people and wildlife without depleting soil resources.
Custom Garden Builds
We handle all aspects of landscape construction, from natural stone patios to custom irrigation systems. Our artisans specialize in masonry features like fire pits and retaining walls, while carefully installing plantings that complete each design. Every project balances durable craftsmanship with living elements that evolve over time.
Native Plant Consultation
Our expertise guides clients in choosing appropriate native species for their specific microclimates. We analyze soil conditions and sun exposure to recommend plants that will thrive while supporting local pollinators and birds. We also advise on non-invasive exotic plants that can enhance biodiversity without disrupting ecological balance in carefully managed proportions.
