We've had less than stellar experiences buying from online retailers and big box stores. Images from online rug sellers weren't enough to really know what the rug would like in our space. To make things worse, customer service reps were a huge pain to deal with. It felt like they didn't understand what we wanted, or worse, didn't care about our taste. The big box and conventional rug sellers can be nice, but sometimes pushy. We hate flipping through rugs or having to wait while they lug and unroll dozens of rugs to find one we like, so.
