With over 17 years of experience in the sofa manufacturing business, the founder of the company recognized the overwhelming value and convenience that the internet could provide consumers when purchasing made-to-order furniture. Baxton Studio is an Internet "hybrid" in the sense that it controls the design and production of its line of furniture and offers it nationwide through it's website and locally through its Chicago land or California warehouses and showrooms.
I've purchased several big items from the Bensenville warehouse over the years, including a platform bed. The prices and and quality are fantastic and the home delivery process worked just fine for me.
I bought a bench with storage. It only came with half the pieces needed to put it together. I called because after finding replacements from my own stock of spare parts (I keep any extras from other purchases), I only needed 2 specific screws. The operater (Adriana) called me back and said someone would get back to me. Never received a call back. I called again. No response. I called yet again. Still no response. It's been two months. Always the recording and no call back now. So what exactly is Adriana being paid for if she is never there during business hours? All I wanted was 2 freakin' screws. No refund, no discount. Just. Two. Screws. This company has the absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced BAR NONE. And it's not even a great quality product, it was just something that happened to fit in the space I had. I wouldn't trust this incompetent company to pour a glass of water correctly.
