My first degree was in economics but after I had a family, I went back to school for interior design. I knew then that my love was applied art. I feel that if it is a residential project, it should reflect the owners and their taste. While I will give someone what they ask for, I will also educate them about other options and show them what else might be available. One of the joys of this profession is that every client is different and every job is different; it is never boring.

I have over 33 years of experience working at Klode Furniture, Betty Johnson's, and Sturgeon Interiors, Ltd. Working with a designer is a personal relationship and we must both share the vision you have for your home. My goal is to help you and educate you, partnering to create the beautiful home you desire. I have extensive experience in the interior design field starting in the contract furniture business, working with architects, teaching at the college level and as an independent designer. I recently just completed two very different but equally beautiful homes in Door County.
