Philyaw Excavating/David Philyaw Construction is a family-owned and operated business, specializing in commercial and residential septic systems, including new systems, repair of existing systems, and septic inspections for loan approval. Currently owned by David Philyaw and his wife, Julie, Philyaw Excavating was founded in 1974 by members of the Philyaw family, and has seen steady growth each year with a focus on hard work, honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Philyaw Excavating engages in volunteer work, having assisted in construction projects in South America, the Gulf Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and numerous sites in the Peoria area.
