We understand the challenge of finding a full-service general contractor who can deliver work of the highest quality on schedule. We understand the challenge of finding contracting that can provide these elements at an exceptional value. Our team of friendly, highly skilled, reliable, and courteous experts will give your project the undivided attention it deserves, guiding it from start to finish and ensuring that all of your project needs and requirements are met or exceeded.

You might say our family's story started years ago, 1,800 miles away in Franklin County, Kansas, when Grandpa bought his first backhoe. Curtis (grandson) was born to Everett (son) soon after and grew up around excavating equipment. Like many young boys, he loved to see dirt move. In 1985, Curtis and Jake's (grandsons) family moved from Franklin County, Kansas to Franklin County, Washington, and Grandpa followed in 2004. C&E Trenching was formed by Everett and Curtis in 1994, and started providing trenching for mostly the ag industry.

What's new?

Travis telling Lonnie to hang loose! Speaking of hanging loose, Travis is awesome at that, helping us mostly on the Anchor Hauling team but willing to step into the C&E team when needed. We’re very grateful for that!

Here is a cool view of the town of Lind! I recommend you drop in when going by. Driving through this town feels like going back in time fifty years. Friendly people and lots of charm!

Thanks to Wray Hay for renting us their fast track. It makes the miles of pipe we have to string go much faster! Here, Nate and Chema are laying out some 30” pvc pipe to measured perfection!

This picture is just to show Lonnie thinking hard! It’s a little hard to see from here but if you look close you can! Construction crews take a lot of jokes about guys leaning on shovels, but the reality is, it takes a lot of planning, thinking and careful reviewing of the plans to get it right!

This project was one of the more challenging in 2020. We put a lift station in a narrow alley 30 feet deep and about 6’ from a garage (seen above)...all while battling overhead wires and bypass pumping 24 hours a day. The first picture is early stages of installing the shoring and digging the hole...
