😡😡😡 This is unacceptable. Instead of making good on his promises to be a champion for climate, California Governor Gavin Newsom is continuing to allow more oil and gas infrastructure. We won’t stand for it!
The United States’ failure to address climate change and Texas’ failure to invest in public energy infrastructure caused this. We need to fix both of these problems so crises like this are less likely to happen again – in Texas and everywhere!
Big Oil sometimes supports carbon pricing for the same reason we oppose it: It allows the fossil fuel industry to keep polluting.
“Corporate broadcast TV nightly news and Sunday shows devoted just 112 minutes to climate change in 2020, the shortest duration since 2016.” 😠 As the climate crisis intensifies, we need more coverage on climate – not less!
🙄🙄🙄 We'll continue getting in the fossil fuel industry's way, even if the federal government won't.
