Nice two bedroom ramble we moved about three weeks ago up in Mora MN. The unique thing about this move is that because of the higher roof, we had to load as low as we could to stay at a safe height and avoid touching power lines. Believe it or not, there are wheels under the back of that house.
We moved this house a couple of weeks ago. This is a 28’x70’ rambler with a 16’x18’ addition/4 season porch. It is being placed on a ongrade foundation with 12’ wood walls. The walls are higher because the garage is 16” lower than the house and needed to have a higher basement to achieve an 8’ ceiling.
Here is a 26’x70’ two story house that we lifted for a new basement. It was sitting on a wood foundation in a crawl space configuration. We had two trenches dug down to the new bottom of the footing height and then set our lift points there so we could lift the house up enough for its new 9’...
