Aging in Place Build and Design is Western Massachusetts leading barrier-free/universal design, remodeling and building specialist. We are dedicated to creating affordable, effective solutions to anyone wishing to create a safe, accessible living environment. Creating safe and accessible homes for our clients is our number on priority. We pride ourselves in being able to solve any home related problem. No matter how big or small the project may be, our team will present client specific solutions according to your input and interests.

Most traditional homes were built with the idea of living space on ground level and bedrooms on the second floors. Unfortunately, this planning concept doesn't lend itself well to those who have trouble getting up and down stairs. A master bedroom, preferably with its own bathroom or one nearby, on the ground level of the home is the safest and most comfortable option. Oftentimes, bedrooms become the place where a majority of our "stuff" is kept and stored. This can oftentimes lead to clutter and trip hazards.

The AIP team was very considerate and professional. Our bathroom addition came out looking wonderful.

As our project with AIP Builders draws to a close, I have bittersweet feelings. Sweet because now I have a gorgeous house which has been carefully.

Not only were they able to do the work at our church to our agreed specifications, they did it ahead of schedule, and were able to help us address future needs in a timely and agreeable manner. We didn't work with a contractor, we worked with partners. They had our best interests in mind.

What's new?

Proof that Bill Labombard - President of AIP Builders - has been building for a looong time!

This client had a small screen porch that was constantly wet/damp and unusable in the winter.
