Septic Pumping
We recommend an annual inspection to be sure all is going well. Also, keep in mind that doing septic pumping more often than it needs to be done won’t hurt it in the least, but there are real dangers in waiting too long.

We recently had an after hours septic emergency and Anthony came out within an hour, provided exceptional service and helped us troubleshoot the problem we were having. We asked his opinion about a couple of things during the course of our conversation and the proposed diagnosis he made was spot on and helped us later in the week with the service provider. 5 STAR SERVICE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I called The Sewer & Drain Medic to inspect a septic system on a home that my real estate client is in the process of purchasing. From the initial call, I could tell that Anthony was a real pro in his industry. He followed up yesterday to ensure that we (the buyers and myself) were still planning to meet at the home this morning and to remind them to bring their payment card for processing on site.
He instructed us to arrive 30 minutes after he did so that he could get the initial inspection out of the way prior to our arrival. With time being so valuable these days, I really appreciated this, as we wouldn't have to waste time watching him dig and inspect. This will be the first home that my buyers will live in that has a septic system, so they had some concerns and questions.
He took time to answer their questions and was very informative with best practices for septic systems, which will help them to better take care of their system and to mitigate future potential problems. Anthony at The Sewer and Drain Medic provided exceptional service for my septic issues. The price quoted to pump the tank was very reasonable and what I paid at the time of service. He took the time to help me troubleshoot my issues and explain things in great detail without over charging. He genuinely seemed to have my best interest in mind. I have a septic system that was recently experiencing backups. I had used Anthony for the original inspection when we moved into the home, and he was so helpful, informative, and willing to answer all of my questions that I kept him in my contacts list as my preferred vendor. I called Anthony to see if he could come pump it, and he suggested that there might be something else the matter.
I snapped some pictures of the pumping setup and the tank risers, and he walked me through some basic troubleshooting of the system while on the road. His friendliness, helpfulness, and willingness to explain every little detail to me without making me feel stupid was so very appreciated. More importantly, we were able to diagnose the issue and fix it without having him come out. I would recommend Anthony and his services for all manner of septic or drain without hesitation. He's fantastic.

Anthony at Sewer and Drain Medic saved our bacon on a home purchase. We nearly bought a house with a potentially failing system. The bank didn't require an inspection but we got it on our own. It turned out the house had a history of septic trouble and an uncertain septic future. Anthony would have a PhD in septic science if such a thing existed. I was impressed with how well he explained the septic system workings to a novice.

Anthony was great! He answered the phone on a weekend when no one else did. He gave great information about what to expect, what to do until he was able to come out and look at our septic, what the expected cost would be, etc. He was very polite and knowledgeable when he came to my home. Everything went well and my septic tank is in great condition. I would absolutely use this service again and tell others to use them as well.

During a basic tank pumping Anthony found that I had a two compartment tank. The lid to the front tank had been cemented shut-and never, ever serviced. He finally chiseled it open and was able to pump it-after fishing out about 30lbs of baby wipes and dental floss by hand. Any extra charges for all his hard work? Nope! A solid five stars!

We had called in to get a rough quote on getting our tank pumped out which the gentleman we spoke with was very helpful and knowledgeable and asked questions to find out our concerns. He helped me determine that we likely don't have tank issues and the fill valve on the one toilet is potentially bad as it has a random gurgle to it. We thought for sure our tank was full.
We put this house up almost a year ago and the property had no house on it for a few years before so theres no telling how long since the existing thank had been pumped. He doesn't believe we need to get it pumped but we're going to anyway so we'll feel better about it going forward. Great guy, very helpful and informative.

I was having a septic emergency on New Years eve and when everyone else was closed and not answering their phones these guys answered and began helping me right away! John came out and assessed everything and diagnosed the problem in just a few minutes. Anthony came out and pumped our septic tank that evening and the next morning at 0700 John and his team were at our house beginning the repairs to get our septic tank and drain lines in top working order.
My wife and I have 3 young kids so not be able to use the water in the house would have been extremely difficult and we are very thankful that John and his team take pride in what they do and care for people and their situations. The job was performed quickly and efficiently and everything was made to look better than it did before. After they left I couldn't even tell that they had been to my house digging up the yard to make the repairs.
This is a top notch, very professional and friendly business and we had a great experience with them. They will no doubt be our go to septic tank company from this point on! Thanks John and all the guys! A

Could not be more pleased. We didn't have to wait weeks to be scheduled. They were friendly, professional and made sure everything was flushing fine before leaving. We have a 3 year warranty. I would recommend this company to my friends.

During the ice storm, I learned we had a ruptured sewer line in the crawl space under our house. Drain and Sewer Medic was recommended by a friend of mine. When I called the owner, John, was very nice and told me, "It is not the end of the world. We will take care of you. Please don't worry." At 8:00am the next morning, John called me to let me know he was at our house.
He had driven there in the ice and freezing rain. When I asked if he was really there (we had to evacuate our home), he said, "I told you, if I could make it, I would get here." John and his co-worker dug down 2 feet to reach the pipe and replaced 21 feet of the sewer line. They also cleaned the mess for me. John waited a few days to make sure I was happy and everything was in great working order, before handing me the bill.
I was amazed at the price and almost kissed him! You would need to pay me a BUNCH more to do that work! I will call upon Drain and Sewer Medic for all of my plumbing needs in the future.

Sewer & Drain Medic is Great! They came out diagnosed my problem in no time flat and shed light on how a septic system works. The equipment used was in great condition clean and well cared for. If your septic system is having trouble these guys are the ones to call.

We were told by others that the entire yard would need dug up and the tank replaced. Only the tank area of the yard had to be opened up to clear out the roots, the rest of the yard was left alone except for some small areas where they inserted the machine to clear the distribution lines. It was an amazing process - it took from 8am until about 2 pm and it saved us nearly $4000!
Definitely call John before you let anyone else tell you the entire system needs replaced. He knows what he's talking about - he used to build and maintain entire municipal waste water systems. He and his guys are friendly, thorough and really proud of the good work they do. I will recommend them to my fellow landlords and real estate investors. We take our referrals very seriously and I will have no hesitation to recommend these guys to my colleagues.
