Guys, you need to know the owners are so knoledgeable. i took my antique orieantal rugs that have been in the family for generations and they did very fantastic job!!! One of our rugs had nasty cat pee odors -__- and they god all the odor out.. WAOW thank youuuu

So I am also a rug cleaner from Canada, and I must say Randy and his wife are so knowledgeable and down to earth people. They both gave me some very good tips and answered a good majority of all my questions. We stayed late after each of my classes and just talked, Rugs, politics, and so on. The two of them run a top notch rug cleaning plant, and can’t wait to go back one day and see their shop again

This is a wonderful, family owned business. They use a non-toxic process to clean rugs, and are very friendly and easy to work with. The colors in the oriental recently inherited from my mother really "pop" after cleaning. Highly recommended!

Renaissance Rug Cleaning is wonderful. For over 20 years I have collected Oriental rugs, primarily antique tribal rugs. This year Renaissance Rug Cleaning has provided me with over 15 rug pads and cleaned and repaired a fragile antique tribal rug. The repair and cleaning was top rate. The rug pads are also top rate but the cleaning and repair of my favorite antique tribal rug is why I am writing this recommendation.

Renaissance is the premier rug washing and restoration company in the NW. They are the only company I would recommend for hand washing & rug repair in Portland Oregon. Renaissance has saved my rugs from, wine spills, pet pee, coffee stains, a green smoothie, and a piece of chocolate cake that fell off the table. Without Renaissance, my rugs would be stained and forlorn.
They even repaired the side of a rug that my dog chewed on and now I can't even tell where the tear occurred. It was a rug miracle! The owner Randy has a deep knowledge of carpets and is able to give honest verbal and written appraisals for insurance and replacement. Portland is lucky to have such a reliable resource for area rugs and carpets.

These guys are really terrific. They're actually a find. Been using them for years on our nice hand knotted and machine knotted rugs. Renaissance is knowledgeable, conscientious, and best of all provide a great service of professional hand cleaned rugs. Their goal is an actual cleaned rug! They'll run it again if it's not completely clean. They deep clean.
Really old school stuff. Trust me, I've had other top pro rug cleaning services in Portland and in Seattlek in past years. Their cleaning just don't last very long- They're not cleaning the rugs as deeply or as thoroughly. Renaissance would be a 5 out of 5. The other services are about a 3 out of 5. These guys work hard, honest hours- local family run business. Highly recommended.

Randy and his wife Val are highly respected in the Rug washing industry, there level of expertise surpasses most rug washers out there. I recently had the privilege of attending a event where he presented and demonstrated advanced techniques for a large group of professionals in the industry, people were crowded around watching him make some very advanced procedures appear simple. If you are looking for one of the best cleaners out there, look no further.
