A Water Quality Indicator Test (WQI) measures the presence of contaminants, such as Total Coliforms and E. Coli. In most cases, the presence of such contaminants is not cause for sickness. However, they may indicate the presence of sewage and other disease causing bacteria in your water. It is a good idea to have water tested once a year if you have people with weakened immune systems, such as young or elderly, living in your home. It is also a good idea to check your well casing frequently for any damage, such as holes due to corrosion or cracks, that can allow bacteria to enter your water.

What a fantastic experience with a very nice person. Came home after a long day to find the well pump not working. Steve responded immediately and was at home working on my well within a couple hours. I thought he was just going to check it out., but said he couldn't leave us overnight without water. The service was fantastic and the price was so reasonable. I am pleased to recommend him!

Martin showed up 20 minutes after my phone call. on a Sunday. I had no water. He quickly diagnosed the problem, quoted me a price and got to work. We have used Martin Plumbing for a number of issues with our new (built in '79) house. We needed a new pump for our 170 ' deep well replaced, needed repairs for frozen pipes, and an installation of a carbon filtration system. Steve is very responsive and was excellent at returning calls to schedule a visit. He knows the best options for equipment and is well trained in repairs and replacements. We had no issues after his work. I highly recommend him as a knowledgeable plumber for any tasks in the field.
