I have relied on Lifetime Custom Painting for over three years. Whenever I call, they are extremely friendly and come to my home within a few days to prepare their bid. They have painted both the inside and outside of my home and done some repair to various areas, including drywall. The employees have been extremely friendly, polite and helpful even when I change my mind. That is one of the things I like about this company. The job is done very well, and cleanup is good, which means a lot to me.

These guys did such a great job on our kitchen! They were kind, efficient, easy to communicate with, and the paint job looks beautiful. They took our cabinet doors off-site to paint, so we were basically able to just live life as normal while the job was being done, other than the one day the cabinets were papered over. Excellent, professional complete repaint of a house interior. Painters were very careful in protecting floors, cabinets, fixtures and furniture. Excellent repair of existing wall and trim damage. Perfect color match and perfect final painted surface - no blemishes, brush strokes or thin areas. All edges properly cut in. Lifetime Custom Painting just finished my kitchen and couldn't be more impressed with the dazzling results. My kitchen was in dire need of a makeover - it was like a cave: dark and uninviting. Open kitchen designs have been the standard for decades (especially in SoCal). However, the original builder had put up non-load bearing walls just to hang cabinetry, resulting in a dark claustrophobic kitchen.
I had various plans, most of which would have cost me $60K-plus (resist the temptation to change your kitchen's "footprint, " i.e, moving your sink or stove/ranges = $$$). I then watched an Instagram video by Lifetime Custom Painting that showed them working on a kitchen: I was impressed at what painting cabinets could do for an out-of-date kitchen.
We met with Luis to describe what we had in mind. We wanted part of a wall removed, the cabinets painted, and new countertops. Luis was able take our ideas and turn them into reality. He steered me away from some expensive ideas that quite frankly would have had low "bang-for-my-buck." The work crews were excellent - they essentially set up a cocoon around my kitchen.
I had picked a brighter white for my cabinets (I don't get a lot of natural light in my kitchen) and decided to go with a solid white quartz countertop. The results were amazing. I'm awaiting the tile for my backsplash (I have my own tile guy), but the results are impressive. If you're thinking of updating your kitchen, contact Lifetime Custom Painting - you won't be sorry.

We originally reached out to Lifetime Custom Painting about updating our kitchen and bathroom cabinets and in the process decided we wanted to also repaint all of our interior spaces, including darkening the stain on a multi-level stair handrail and base, as well as removing and patching an old wall mirror and replacing a bathroom countertop. We were impressed from the beginning with the knowledge, friendliness and responsiveness of Luis and the team.
Once we agreed to move forward, they were flexible and fast in getting us on the schedule. What really impressed us is once the crew got on site: they were early on day one and immediately started protecting all the floors and fixtures, removing the cabinet doors, and tearing out the old countertop and wall mirror. Throughout the process they were just as efficient. Mario, Edgar, Jose and Saul treated our home as if it were their own and were meticulous in their work.
Their care and quality was outstanding! We've worked with many contractors, and the whole experience was among the best we've ever had. We would highly recommend Lifetime Custom Painting.

We had all the cabinets in our house painted. Edgar did a great job removing the cabinet doors and prime and painted all the cabinets. The cabinet doors were expertly rehung with new hinges. We're completely satisfied with the work that was done and the kitchen has taken on a new updated look. The cabinetry and the doors look like they were factory painted. Great job. Thanks again Edgar.

My initial experience from first contact with Luis was good and promising. However, as we got closer to the date for them to actually start the job, he was non-responsive to calls and texts. He was very forgetful. He gave me a deadline to get paint color to him and I did the day before the deadline. Edgar & Zahir were the workers who were here on the first day and they were great.
They did exactly what Luis had instructed them to do, however Luis failed to tell them about removing one of the cabinets from the wall, so I had to tell them. Day 2, Edgar returns to prime and paint. He was on time, and communicated with me if he was running behind a few minutes. He completes his job and asked me to come look before he left. I looked and I was silent.
I then asked why everything was white? Edgar responds, "This is not the color you chose?" I responded, " No. I gave Luis the paint color and number, and it's called Lazy Gray. Edgar apologized, which I thought was noble because it wasn't his fault. He immediately calls Luis and then communicates to me that he's going to leave to go get the paint, come back and RE-do it. Edgar is the Real MVP!
He painted it the right color and came back to put cabinet doors on, but now there's another issue with the hinges that Luis got for the cabinets. Edgar calls Luis because it was suggested that we just put the old hinges that were gold back on. I said no because the new pulls that we have are silver and the gold/brass looking hinges will not look right on our new cabinets. Edgar had to wait about an hour for Luis to go get the right hinges. Luis finally arrives and Edgar was able to complete the job. Edgar cleaned up very well everyday after he finished his tasks for the day.
He prepped everything and kept everything well contained. My issue with Luis is that he never apologized for any of the mess ups that were his fault. He didn't take ownership for any of it. He kept making really light of it and when I'd bring it up, he'd try to change the subject. He's young and needs guidance to stay organized. He did take $400 off of the balance owed.

Recently had Lifetime paint the exterior of my home. Luis, Alvaro, and Edgar were true professionals and a pleasure to work with. We live near the beach and our home had not been painted in about 10 years. It was in a state of disrepair and the Lifetime team did an amazing job. The repaired and replaced damaged Siding and door frames. The paint job itself makes it look like a whole new house. I will be sure to use Lifetime again and to refer them to my friends and neighbors.

Our home has huge exposed wooden beams that were damaged by water. Another company had tried to fix the damage and made it worse; several others turned the job down because it was so challenging. Luis and Lifetime Custom Painting to the rescue. They were here for weeks, sanding to remove the damage, including working on scaffolding because our ceilings are 23 feet high.
Everyone in the company was always helpful and patient and skilled, making sure that my partner and I were completely satisfied, which is a challenge because I can be very picky. And now, the beams look like new. We are grateful beyond words that Luis and his team took on this task and completed it so well. We recommend them highly.

This is my third time using Lifetime for a major home project. The entire process was easy, fair, and went exactly as I had hoped. Luis came out and gave a very fair estimate, but more than that he gave great vision and actually offered some great suggestions for improving my renovation. Eduardo and Alvaro did a great job day to day, . working full days to complete on time. Eduardo did a great job with some carpentry work on some areas with termite damage.
The guys went the extra mile replacing door hardware and fixtures with newer versions that I provided. Alvaro beautifully installed A new bathroom vanity light for me. At the end, the guys could be seen on hands and knees cleaning every last bit of dust or debris off the floor. Really an amazing job start to finish. Honestly, you won't go wrong with Lifetime painters.

I hired Lifetime Custom Painting to paint the interior of my house, including trim and doors. I also had them replace some baseboards and complete some drywall repair. All of their work was excellent and the painters were enjoyable to work with. They took pride in their work and it showed. Being happy with the interior painting, I hired them to repaint the exterior of my home as well.
There was a fair amount of wood repair on the exterior of the house. They were able to repair it all expertly and it looks fantastic. Their prices are very fair and their work is thorough and excellent.

Fantastic work! We are thrilled! Luis, Pablo and all the crew were extremely professional, courteous, prompt, detail-oriented, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We've never had a contractor experience like it. They showed up on time, every time. We had the best experience working with Lifetime Custom Painting. They were quick, clean and efficient. They worked with us to get several rooms in our house painted while we were out of town so we didn't have to deal with the fumes or living in an "under maintenance" house. We completely trust their team and they took great care of our home while we were away, even taking it as far as bringing in all our mail/packages.
The paint job looks fantastic and we're already working on setting up another project for a room we originally skipped out on. I contacted Lifetime Custom Painting based on a recommendation from a company I used to install all new interior and exterior doors at my home in San Diego. The owner Luis quickly responded back and was able to provide me a rough estimate over the phone from images of the doors and door trim that I sent him. His quick response and eagerness to answer my questions regarding the project and competitive estimate made it an easy decision to go with Lifetime Custom Painting. Luis's crew showed up on time each day and made sure to tape off and prepare the house so that our hardwood floors weren't damaged at all.
His crew worked quickly and was able to prep and paint 14 doors including interior mdf and fiberglass exterior as well as the trim surrounding the doors in three days. Luis even addressed minor fixes I requested near the end of the project without hesitation. I highly recommend Lifetime Custom Painting and will be calling them in the future for other painting projects.

We called 5 companies listed here on yelp. Lifetime custom replied quickly and had the best price. We were scheduled to have the exterior of our home painted as well as some fascia board being replaced. Work was to begin the following monday, but luckily received a message from luis regarding a cancellation and work began friday. Daniel and manuel were friendly, prompt, informative, and paid attention to details. Luis was always communicating. Our house was finished on thursday and looks brand new! We just had Lifetime Custom Painting paint 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a hallway. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the prep work as far as taping and protecting the floors. Luis was easy to work with and I even asked for a ceiling painted in the middle of the project and they still got the job done in time. I would recommend this company.

A few years ago, my mom had her entire fence, which is on 3 sides of the house, by Lifetime Custom Painting. I recall that she was very satisfied with the job. I am now living on the property and am going through the process of buying the house. Since it will be an FHA loan, there are VERY strict requirements. When the appraiser came he made note in his report of a few spots of paint chipping on the fence.
In addition, the patio cover had a lot of termite damage and the paint (NOT done by Lifetime) was peeling horribly. I called the owner, Luis, who came over to assess the situation. Without hesitation, he honored his 10-year warranty, and repainted the ENTIRE section behind the house, which I felt was "above and beyond". He also replaced the termite-damaged wood of the patio cover, and sanded and painted it.
The work was done in 2 days. His workers were hardworking, respectful, and they completely cleanup afterwards. I was so impressed! Also, Luis came by on both days to check on the work. At all times Luis was very professional and his estimate was clear and he stuck to it. I highly recommend Lifetime Custom Painting and will re-hire when it comes time to paint the house.

I have used Lifetime Custom Painting a couple of times, once 6 yrs ago when I needed the entire outside of my home repainted with some stucco repair and more recently when I needed some interior paint and some additional outside stucco work repaired (I had put in a new bathroom window). Both times they did an excellent job at a reasonable and fair price.
The first time, a whole crew came and they were polite, cheerful, and did an excellent job. Most recently for the smaller job, Luis came by during the day to check on how the painters were doing. I wasn't home at the time, but noticed that he had personally touched up some areas that I had forgotten to tell the painters about earlier. I would definitely recommend them again. It went just fine. The painters arrived in good time, started work promptly and did a careful, thorough job. (The rooms look new.) They were professional, personable and pleasant throughout their stay, unfazed when they found the second layer of wallpaper (which I didn't know about) and. wrapping things up, went out of their way to find a light-switch cover that had gone missing. We'll have these folks back for our next painting job.

Luis and Larry worked with me on getting my painting projects done. They were very accommodating regarding my schedule and what I wanted done. Each room had a different color. They prepared the rooms and cleaned up after they were finished. After they had left and the paint had dried, I noticed a few small areas that needed touching up. They were very happy to return and take care of it. I will certainly call them back when I have another painting project.

Lifetime Custom Painting prices are very fair and reasonable. Luis and his crew were very professional and punctual. This is the second time we have used their services. We are always pleased and satisfied with their work. The lastest work they did for us was for a 5 bedroom house. Luis estimated 5 days for the project, his crew was able to complete in 3 days. I have worked with these guys for quite some time and they had done several jobs from drywall replacement and painting to plastering. They are very all inclusive painting experts, they do inside and outside. They are great with stains, they have painted my garage doors and fences. I use them for everything. Luis is the owner and that is who I always work with, I have worked with him on 2-3 homes since 2002.

The painters were excellent workers. They showed up on time and spent approximately 3 days from start to finish. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the paint chips and droppings from a wood roof overhang that had not been painted for years. All of their work was excellent. Although not part of the bid, they even repaired a small problematic area near the roof and painted it. If I need another painting project, this is the company I'm going to call.
